Redensity 1 is administered to the top layers of the skin. The unique blend of non-cross linked hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and minerals provides instant and cumulative hydration, whilst stimulating collagen production and helping to firm the skin from within.
Amino acids are essential proteins that are required in order to boost collagen and elastin production. The inclusion of vitamins and minerals also helps to repair the skin and delivers essential nutrients to help heal the skin and fight the signs of ageing and premature damage.
You should avoid any blood thinners such as Ibuprofen and Aspirin, alcohol and high strength fish oils, Vitamin C and E at least a day beforehand, as they can increase the appearance of bruising after the treatment.
We apply numbing cream to make sure the treatment is comfortable for you. We will mark the areas to be treated and then inject the product into the top layers of the skin using a tiny needle.
The entire treatment process usually takes under 30 minutes and has no required recovery time, so you can get back to your day straight after treatment.
You may experience mild swelling or bruising after your treatment. This usually settles within a few days. You should try to avoid touching the area and taking part in strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
The amount of time the product takes to break down varies from person to person depending on the volume, type and location of product injected, as well as the natural level of hyaluronidase in the body. Generally, Redensity 1 will last up to 6 months.

Redensity 1 is a popular treatment and gives great results on patients of all ages, however it is especially effective on our younger patients. If you have a degree of skin laxity, dull tired looking skin in need of a hydration boost, or fine lines and wrinkles, you could be suitable for Redensity 1.

As Redensity 1 is injected just uder the surface of the skin using a tiny needle, it is relatively painless. You may feel a mild sting, but this is short-lived. Patients can opt for numbing cream before treatment if necessary. The procedure is quick, taking only about 10 minutes.
There is no downtime with Redensity 1. Is it recommended to avoid any blood thinners, alcohol, Vitamin C and E in the 24 hours prior to treatment as they can all increase the likelihood of bruising.
Immediately afterwards, its important to avoid wearing make-up, and strenuous exercise, saunas, steam and hot baths should be avoided for at least 24 hours.
You should avoid excessive sunlight for 48 hours after treatment and wear a high SPF sunscreen. Exposing your skin to the sun will have a detrimental effect on your skin quality and hydration. Investing in good habits such as wearing SPF and a wide-brimmed hat when going into direct sunlight will help your skin hugely in the long-run.
There are no long-term side effects with Redensity 1 as it is metabolised by the body completely. The risk of allergic reaction is possible but substantially reduced due to the lack of chemicals.
Some people experience some redness, mild bruising, tenderness and possible itching but these will subside in a few hours to a day.
Results last up to 6 months depending on the individual. Mango Aesthetics have developed their approach to Redensity 1, and invites patients to return for a single treatment, every 3-6 months in order to keep the skin in its best condition.
